They Finally did it!!!

That's right Derik and Michelle finally tied the knot, and got hitched. It was a nice small little ceremony at the court house, I did bring the Flip and got video of the ceremony, it was nice. Derik wore his sweet green shirt and Michelle was beautifully casual as usual. After the ceremony we all went to Ramblin Jacks and had some good eats and good laughs with good friends.

Cyclocross National Championships!

They were last weekend, I wasn't there. That's depressing, the most exciting thing in my life is a race that I am not even participating in... At least my bikes were, I hooked up Kyle with my rigs and he was able to charge them out there, to a great result considering he a never raced cross before. This whole, my bikes are racing but I am not thing, needs to change, I was looking at the MTB race schedule this moring trying to plan out what I want to do, or what I can get in shape for... Everyone who comes into the shop and asks me what my plans are I tell them "I plan on doing everything so that I will at least hit one..."

Back to those who are racing, a big shout out to Steve Fisher and his D2 National Title! Thats a great ride! Also to JPows bad luck hits again and there was nothing he could do.

Tryed to hit the trails this morning, but the Jeep wouldn't start. At least it wasn't her flat this time, a bum battery was the cause so I took to back and got a fresh one, its so nice to have a vehicle that just starts! Maybe I'll get up there tomorrow. Thats all for now. Late!

Snow Sick

Got up to the slopes on Tuesday, go figure that same day I was to get crazy sick. The day started off like any other ski day, up early and still mostly asleep when I jump in the Jeep, and on the way the day just started getting worse. I started feeling sick, then I realized I forgot my phone, and then it wouldn't stop raining, the closer I got to the slopes it still wouldn't stop raining, until I got right up to the parking lot and it started snowing... and the wind started blowing. At this point I really started feeling cruddy, but I made it all the way up there and passes were cheap so I put on an extra layer and hit it. It was really windy on the way up and the snow was not real great but it was something. They closed the upper mountain so the highest that was open was Forest Queen, a side of the mountain I rarely see, so I didn't really know where to ride. I found some pretty sweet runs with some fresh lines but by about 11:00 it was getting so warm that the snow was getting slushy and what was once snow was frozen rain and what was then frozen rain was slush. By that time I started feeling really tired and sick so I took a break in the lodge and it went down hill from there. I called it quits and headed home which was a really good thing because I barley made it home before I crashed for the rest of the day, and for the next 2 days for that matter. It hit hard and fast, but its the first time I've been sick, since swine flu awhile back.

Today Riss and I just hung out, it was awesome! Hit downtown and checked out the Motorcycle Toy Run, that was a sight, and hung out at Sizizi's and had the best Chi Tea I've ever had. Although Riss felt like she was being watched:
